We have successfully migrated The Childcare on-line Booking (CoB) system across to its new dedicated server this afternoon.

We were able to limited the downtime to 28 minutes (between 15:08 and 15:36) and was down to the testing and planning we have undertaken over the last 4 weeks in preparation for today.

We are delighted to announce that we have passed our Cyber Essentials Plus this week and now have our Cyber Essentials Plus Certificate of Assurance. The assessor went on to say "it is rare that an organisation achieves Cyber Essentials Plus on their first assessment" and he was very impressed at our set-up. We are now completing our IASME certification that is a certificate associated with data protection (GDPR) and the only recognised certificate recognised by the ICO.

The Childcare on-line Booking (CoB) system is designed for out of school clubs (including breakfast clubs, after school clubs, holiday clubs and playschemes), as well as preschools and nurseries.

Ayrmer Software is in the process of getting the government-backed cyber security certification (Cyber Essentials Plus). It sets out a good baseline of cyber security for small and large businesses alike.

We are moving CoB to a new dedicated server and upgrading the server infrastructure to ensure the best possible service, whilst updating the security of CoB.
